Holyroodhouse Palace, Edinburgh

The Edinburgh Castle is not the only one of the city. The Holyrood Palace is also a place you must visit !
It is situated at the end of the Royal Mile, at the opposite end to Edinburgh Castle.

Holyroodhouse Palace has been the principal residence of Kings and Queens of Scotland since the 16th century.
Nowadays, Queen Elizabeth II stays one week at the beginning of each summer at the Palace. Also, the Palace is used to host official occasions or entertainments, such as Garden Parties, etc.

The entry to the Palace is £12, and you also can access to the garden, which is beautiful.
At the end of the visit, don’t forget to make sign your ticket. Like that, you can keep it and come back for free (don’t lose it !!).
