Edinburgh - The Scotch Whisky Experience

The scotch whisky experience is located next to the Edinburgh Castle so it attracts a lot of tourists. But is it worth attending the tour?
Well, It is not a distellery so you can't expect to see very much. But you can learn a lot.
We were shown some videos on how whisky is made with a lot of backround information, there was a presentation about the different sorts and their origin, you had the chance to figure out which kind of whisky you like and in the end we could choose one and try a sip. We were allowed to keep the whisky glas. And most impressive was probably the room with all the different kinds of whisky bottles.
We paid 10 Pounds each (educational tour/student price). Well I have to admit that I expected a bit more. But still: I learned a lot and it was worth it :-)
