Glencoe

Yesterday we made a one day trip to Glencoe. It's close to Fort Williams and just approximately 1,5 hours from Glasgow. If you saw the recent James Bond movie Skyfall you might recognize some of the locations as the road, the Highlands and the Glen were shown in the end of the movie. Also, in Glencoe village, you can visit a really recommendable exhibition about the Glen, the stories and the wildlife there. They even give some information and background info about the Glencoe massacre in 1692. Very good choice for a boring sunday afternoon ;) xx Heidi
