Eastern holiday trip – part 1 – What to do in Inveraray, Scotland!

Hi Guys,

Has been a while, sorry for that! However, I have much new information to share with you.. the trip has been wonderful… We didn’t exactly use the route I posted before.. we made some extra stops.. I’ll post the new route next week.

We left Paisley on Friday at 8.30h with our 1.2 Opel (Vauxhall) Corsa. We were lucky with the rental car.. Arnold Clark had an offer to rent the car for 5 days and pay for 3 of them.

First stop was in Inveraray, beautiful small fishers’ man village. I mentioned it before in the post about castle hopping.. Check out more pictures in the new album on Facebook.

1. Inveraray castle: adult/child - £10/£6.50. Open from 10am-5.45pm April-October.

2. Inveraray Jail:  adult/child - £8.95/£4.95. Open from 09.30am-6pm. "At this award-winning, interactive tourist attraction, you can sit on a trial, try out a cell and discover the harsh tortures that were meted out to unfortunate prisoners"

3.Inveraray Maritime museum: The pier: adult/child - £5/£2.50.
