Doune Castle - Monty Phython!

Doune Castle is pretty near to Stirling. As there is nothing else to see at the place where the castle is, I'd recommend to combine it with a visist in Stirling. 

Funny thing is that we walked into the Castle and said we feel like in the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail until we saw this:

If you go there please ask for some coconuts at the reception! After the visit we saw that you can get some, so you can imitate the sound of the knights. People who know the movie will understand what I am talking about :-D

The castle doesn't seem to be renovated much, but that is exactly what makes this castle so special! #Aylin
