Real traditional Scottish Pub: The Drovers Inn - Loch Lomond

By visiting Loch Lomond, we stopped in a real traditional Scottish Pub: The Drovers Inn.

Located at the very North of Loch Lomond (Inverarnan, North Loch Lomond G83 7DX), on the A82 to Crianlarich, a scene of the movie Cloud Atlas (starring Tom Hanks, Hall Berry and Hugh Grant) has been set.

The Drovers Inn is all decorated with stuffed animals, and a very warm atmosphere. And all the waiters are dressed with a kilt !!

You must try there the famous Haggis and Scotch Broth, but also the Monster and Braveheart Burgers !!

Sunday Brunch - The Stravaigin Glasgow

A very nice thing to do is have a brunch on a Sunday. You can take your time, there is no rush and it is always nice to hang out a little with friends or family.

One of the best place is the Stravaigin restaurant.
Located in the West End of Glasgow, at the  28 Gibson St, Kelvinbridge, the Stravaigin is opened from Monday to Friday 9am-1am and from Saturday to Sunday 11am to 1am.

Brunch will be around £5 - £10.
For example, the Full Sottish Breakfast, with eggs, mushrooms, scones, pudding, tomatoes, link & lorne and bacon costs £7,25.

The food is awesome and delicious, their moto is "Think Global, Eat Local".

If you want to go there for a meal, you can try on of the Specials, but if you are on a budget, you can order Stravaigin Staples, with curry, fish and chips or the famous scottish haggis, neeps and mash.

If you go on a Monday, have a look at the Stravaigin"s Special Thali Nights, you'll enjoy it for sure :)

Jump into a train, for about £12 for a return-ticket, and go to take advantage of the sea air and the beach !!

If you want to try some Fish & Chips, it's the moment !!
Stop at the Wellington (100-104 Sandgate for the name of the street), they make really good Fish & Chips for £4-5.
