Eastern holiday, day 2 - part 3 - On our way to Portree on Isle of Skye..

Hello..

After you pass the Skye bridge, the only thing your doing is be amazed. The landscape on Isle of Skye is so enchanting... mainly because it can change within 5 minutes..

Portree is Skye's largest and liveliest town. It has a pretty harbour lined with brightly painted houses which profit from great views of the surrounding hills.

Eastern holiday - day 2 - part 2 - Kyleakin, Skye bridge

Hi,

It's only an half-hour drive to the Kyleakin, Skye bridge from the Eilean Donan Castle. The bridge is free, but you can also take the ferry to Isle of Skye. 1. Mallaig to Armadale: (tip: crossing 30min.) per person/car: £4.35/22.60. 2. Glenelg to Kylerhea: (crossing 5min.) car with four passengers: £14.

Another possibility is to take the bus in Glasgow to Portree or Uig,which takes 7/7.5 hours and cost you around £40.
